INDIANAPOLIS -- The Detroit Titans are headed to Omaha, Neb. as a No. 15 seed in the NCAA Tournament set to face No. 2 seed Kansas in the Second Round (Midwest Regional). The game is set for Friday, March 16 at 9:57 p.m. Eastern on truTV.

Ticket requests are being taken through the Detroit Titan Ticket Office at 313-993-1700.  Ticket prices range from $80-89 are good for the session in which Detroit plays on Friday only.  If Detroit wins Friday, those buying tickets will be required to buy tickets for the Sunday session.

Detroit (22-13) earned the Horizon League's autobid by virtue of its 70-50 win over Valparaiso last Tuesday in the league's championship game.  The Titans have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Kansas, ranked No. 3 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches Poll, boasts a 27-6 overall mark heading into the tournament.

Kansas and Detroit have met three previous times with the Jayhawks coming out on top each time.  They last played in the 2006-07 season, a 63-43 KU win in Lawrence, Kan.

Detroit has won an NCAA game in each of its previous two tournament appearances.  In 1998, 10th-seeded Detroit upended St. John's 66-64 in the tourney opener.  A year later, the 12th-seeded Titans upset 5-seed UCLA, 56-53.

The winner of Friday's game will advance to face the winner of No. 7 Saint Mary's and No. 10 Purdue on Sunday.
