Minisha Frederick-Childress, a quick and heady point guard originally from the Great Lakes State.
Frederick-Childress started her high school right here in Michigan at Flint Northwestern before moving to Minnesota and lettering in basketball and soccer for Mankato East High School. She ended her career earning honorable mention All-State as well as All-City and All-Big 9 as a sophomore, junior and senior and was tabbed one of the top 50 seniors in the state by Minnesota Hoops entering her final high school season. A smart floor general on the court, she led the state of Minnesota in assists in her three years and left Mankato East as the school's all-time assists leader, while tallying over 1,000 points.
