With the start of the Titans 107th season a week away and with one more exhibition game to go, HLN Detroit's Holly Hedemark caught up with freshman guard
Matthew Grant for the second episode of "Off The Court" covering the men's basketball team.
In his first collegiate exhibition game Grant finished with four points, two steals and one blocked shot in a 93-51 win over Lawrence Tech.
A three-year letterwinner at Westchester High School in Los Angeles was named the 2013 LA City Section Player of the Year as a senior. He also earned Western League Player of the Year accolades, while receiving MaxPreps All-State honorable mention. Grant averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game as a senior and helped lead the Comets (29-7) to the LA City Division I title.

Detroit will conclude its exhibition season when it hosts Concordia on Saturday, Nov. 2. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Calihan Hall and will have live stats available on the
