2013 NCAA Bowling Championship
CANTON (4/13/13) – Nebraska took home the crown at the 2013 NCAA Women's Bowling Championships, defeating Vanderbilt, 4.5-2.5 at Super Bowl Lanes in Canton, Mich. Saturday. The Cornhuskers rebounded from a two-games-to-one deficit to win their fourth title overall.
Nebraska grabbed the early lead with a 211-199 win in the opening game but Vanderbilt answered with a 197-186 win in game two. The Commodores then continued with a 169-156 win in game three. The two teams then split the fourth game 190-190, before Nebraska roared back with back-to-back victories in the sixth (196-189) and seventh (246-200) games to clinch its fourth title.
The championship finals will re-air on ESPN Sunday, April 14 from 2-3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
