"Every year, I am just so impressed with the number of student-athletes that are honored," said Amy Gasahl, UDM's Academic Coordinator & Assistant Director of Compliance. "You can see the hard work they put in to achieve athletic greatness, but when they are not practicing or playing, our Titans are clearly making sure that academics is a priority."
The recognition was done in front of 6,976 fans during halftime of the Titans' homecoming game against Oakland.
Prior to the contest, a special reception was held to honor the student-athletes with more than 500 people in attendance, including friends and family.
