Coach Van Gundy Addresses The CrowdVideo Recap
Free Press ArticleDETROIT (10/15/2015) -- The crowd was excited and the energy was felt throughout the entire room as the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team hosted 'Talkin' Hoops In the D' on Thursday night in the Student Ballroom on the campus of UDM.
The event featured Titan head men's basketball coach
Ray McCallum sharing stories with current Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy. The Voice of the Titans
Dan Leach co-hosted the hardwood chat with 105.1 FM ESPN Radio mid-day host Matt Dery.
Over 150 guests were in attendance, including several members of the media and some of the most dedicated Titan fans and supporters in the country.

Dean Haddad filling the room with the sound of sweet jazz, the evening started with the entire crowd mingling and talking about Titan and Pistons' hoops.
After all of those in attendance had a great meal, the program began with some opening remarks from Leach and UDM Director of Athletics
Robert C. Vowels, Jr.Coach McCallum would take to the podium and introduced his team and coaching staff and that was followed by coach Van Gundy's chance at the microphone. Both coaches also unleashed stories of their time together in basketball, especially when they coached together at Wisconsin.
The coaches then answered questions from the hosts and the audience before the evening ended.
The event also featured a silent auction and door prizes and that, along with the great hoops talk, made the event a rousing success.
The Titans would like to thank coach Van Gundy and all of those who came out as well as all of those who helped make this event truly special.
