DETROIT (10/28/2015) --
The University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse program is set to host its inaugural "Top 100" Prospect Clinic on Jan. 18, where high school lacrosse players have a chance to learn from Division I student-athletes and coaches. Limited spots are available for the clinic.

The clinic is set from 11-2:00 p.m., on Jan. 18 at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac. The cost is $75 per participant. Cash, credit cards, and checks are acceptable forms of payment. Registration will begin at 10:45 a.m. the day of the clinic. Camp participants must be pre-registered and payment required before checking in the day of the event.

Camp participants are asked to bring their own equipment for the clinic and must have the medical/waiver filled out and signed prior to participating.

The Detroit women's lacrosse team is entering its eighth season in 2015-16. Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Laura Maness, the Titans have been very successful in the Atlantic Sun Conference, reaching the conference championship game each of the past three seasons. Detroit set a school record for wins with 10 victories last year and earned several postseason accolades, including earning IWLCA Academic honors for sporting a team GPA of 3.0 or better for the sixth-straight season.
