DETROIT (2/21/2015) -- On Senior Day, senior
Ellisha Crosby tied a career-high with six 3-pointers and scored 21 points to help lead the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team to a 78-65 victory over visiting Cleveland State at historic Calihan Hall.

Brie Wilcox were both honored prior to the contest. The Titans improved to 5-7 in Horizon League play and 10-15 overall. Cleveland State (15-10, 7-5 HL) entered the game third in the conference.
Crosby went 6-of-9 from beyond the arc and played a team-high 39 minutes. She was 7-of-10 from the field overall. Freshman guard
Darianne Seward added 21 points for the Titans, while sophomore
Rosanna Reynolds posted her fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
CSU took a 6-2 lead in the early minutes, but Detroit scored seven straight points to take a 9-6 advantage after Crosby made a 3-pointer. Cleveland State tied the game, 9-9, on a triple, but Detroit scored the next six points capped by another Crosby 3-pointer. The Titans would go on to lead the rest of the first half and led by as many as 14 points in the opening frame.
Detroit led at halftime 43-31 propelled by seven first-half triples. Crosby and freshman
Nicole Urbanick were each 3-for-3 from long range in the first half and the Titans were 7-of-12 overall from behind the arc.
The UDM lead grew to 18 points, 49-31, after Crosby's fifth 3-pointer at the 17:50 mark in the second half. Cleveland State went on a 12-0 run midway through the half to cut the Titans lead to seven points, 55-48, with 10:30 remaining. Detroit then went on a run of its own, scoring eight of the next 12 points to earn a 63-52 advantage with 5:34 left. The Vikings would never get closer than eight points the rest of the way.
Sophomore
Haleigh Ristovski led the Titans with five assists and also pulled down nine rebounds. Urbanick finished with nine points, all in the first half, on 3-of-4 attempts from downtown. Freshman
Brianne Cohen tallied six points off the bench for Detroit, while adding two blocks.
For the game, the Titans converted on 10-of-23 triple opportunities and shot 50 percent from the field overall. The Titans also sank 16-of-20 free throws during the contest (80 percent).
Cleveland State was led by Imani Gordon, who had a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds. The Vikings shot 43.8 percent from the floor during the game (24-for-66), but CSU was just 6-of-24 (25 percent) on 3-point attempts.
Detroit next hosts Wright State on Thursday, Feb. 26 in its final home contest of the regular season. The 7 p.m. game at Calihan Hall will also be
