INDIANAPOLIS (4/6/2016) -- Just two days after a thrilling conclusion to the men's basketball national championship game, the NCAA released its end of the year statistics for the 2015-16 campaign, and one Titan garnered a top-10 mark in the country.
Senior
Anton Wilson led the Horizon League and was seventh in the nation in free-throw percentage hitting 83-of-93 for 89.2%, the third highest mark in school history.
Wilson also ranked second in the Horizon League and 48th in the nation in three-point field goals per game (2.77), seventh in the conference and 25th in the country in three-point field goal percentage (42.8%) and third in the league and 65th in DI in total 3-pointers (86).
Sophomore
Paris Bass finished fourth in the league and 71st in the nation in points per game (18.4).
As a team, Detroit was second in the Horizon League and seventh in the country in scoring (83.7), while finishing second in the league and 54th in the country in field-goal percentage (46.5%).Â
In the Horizon League, Bass ranked fourth in blocks (1.38), fifth in rebounds (8.0), seventh in steals (1.38) and tied for seventh in double-doubles (7).Â
Wilson was eighth in the league in scoring (14.3) and steals per game (1.32), while junior
Chris Jenkins finished sixth in three-point field goal percentage (42.8%), eighth in free-throw percentage (77.2%), 12th in three-point field goals made (1.6), 12th in rebounding (5.7), 15th in field-goal percentage (47.6%) and 20th in scoring (12.0).
Sophomore
Jaleel Hogan ranked second in the Horizon League in field-goal percentage (57.4%), while freshman
Josh McFolley and senior
Carlton Brundidge tied for 14th in assists (2.3).Â
