DETROIT (1/19/2018) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team opens a basketball doubleheader Saturday at Calihan Hall, hosting Horizon League foe Milwaukee for a 1 p.m. ET game. The game is set to be streamed live on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN Applications.
It'll be a red out on Saturday with the women's team playing the Panthers prior to the men's basketball game against Oakland at 4 p.m. from Dick Vitale Court. Admission into the women's game is free and fans that come prior to halftime of the women's basketball game get into both games for free.
Free red rally towels will be handed out to the first 500 fans at the women's contest, while 1,500 will be handed out prior to the men's basketball game.

Urbanick is nearing the all-time 3-point mark and is 13 shy of the career record, set by former Titan standout Senee Shearer of 231. Urbanick has sank 12 triples in her past six games and moved into sole possession of second place against No. 23/22 Green Bay on Thursday, sinking a triple in the third quarter of the contest.
The Titans are 24-19 in Horizon League contests all-time under third-year head coach
Bernard Scott. Detroit Mercy went 12-6 last season en route to a third-place finish before reaching the Horizon League Championship game.

The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball fell to No. 23/22-ranked Green Bay on Thursday night, 85-27, from Calihan Hall. Sophomore

Lexey Tobel added seven points and a team-best six rebounds off the bench for the Titans.
Detroit Mercy shot 9-of-45 from the floor (20 percent), including 3-of-21 from beyond the arc. Oatis made all six of Detroit Mercy free throws during the contest.
Frankie Wurtz led Green Bay with 15 points off the bench. The Phoenix shot 50 percent in the game (30-for-60), including 7-for-17 from downtown.
Junior
Brittney Jackson opened the game with a lay-up, but Green Bay would go on a run to take a double-digit advantage midway through the first quarter. The Phoenix continued its offensive and defensive pressure throughout the first half, holding a 38-6 halftime lead.
The Titans scored 15 points in the final quarter, five of them coming from senior
Cortney Williams, who scored a season-high-tying five points.
Scouting Milwaukee
The Panthers are on a four-game win streak entering Saturday's game with the Titans, with the last two victories coming on the road over UIC and Oakland.
Milwaukee is 5-2 overall in league play this season with the only two losses coming against Green Bay and Wright State. The Panthers have performed well in games away from Milwaukee this year, holding an 8-3 road mark and 9-4 record overall in games not held at the Klotsche Center.
Seniors Steph Kostowicz and Jenny Lindner lead the way for Milwaukee in scoring at 14.9 and 12.9 points per game, respectively. Redshirt-senior Bailey Farley adds 11.1 points per game. Kostowicz is among the league leaders in rebounding (8.4 rpg) and blocks (43), while also leading the team in assists (53) and steals (20).
Milwaukee shoots the ball well from the free throw line (76.7 percent) and also effectively from the field, making 42.6 percent of its shots. Farley leads the team in 3-point FG percentage (44.2) and 3-pointers made (34).
