DETROIT (12/5/2018) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team has added a local standout student-athlete for the future as All-State selection
Shae Zydeck (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth) has signed a National Letter of Intent.
"Shae is a good ball striker who had an excellent career as a prep and in junior golf," said interim head coach

Zydeck earned First Team All-State as a junior and senior, placing seventh overall in 2018.

In junior golf action, she has registered six, top-five finishes, including tying for second at the Big "I" The Fortress at The Fortress Golf Course with a 159 (78-81) and taking third at The Medalist with an 85 as well as tying for 13th at the Michigan Girls Junior PGA Championship with a 168 (83-85).
