INDIANAPOLIS (11/1/2019) -- Honoring the best and brightest of the league, University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer junior
Olivia Elby was named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team.
The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Academic All-Horizon League consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale) and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits.
Elby holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in Psychology. She has played in 11 games this year with four starts as a midfielder, firing off four shots on the season.
She is a two-time Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor roll recipient and a member of the Horizon League fall and spring Honor Academic Roll.
The Titans are back in action tonight as the red, white and blue host NKU at 7 p.m.
