DETROIT (3/1/2019) -- It was another semester of stellar performances in the classroom as 240 Titan student-athletes and spirit squad members earned their way onto the University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll. 

The annual honor roll was announced during halftime of the men's basketball game against IUPUI on Thursday, Feb. 28. The student-athletes that were not competing were on hand for recognition. 

The student-athletes who received the accolade achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher during either or both of the semesters during the 2018 calendar year.
 
"We continue to strive for academic excellence and this year is no exception.  The numbers are impressive, as 75% of our student-athletes have consistently performed at a 3.0 or higher GPA," said Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services Holly Kerstner. "The commitment they put into their academics and athletics is astounding and we are excited to take this opportunity to celebrate their achievements in the classroom and to thank all of the faculty and staff that have been mentors and role models along the way."
