This is the 11th year of Titan varsity lacrosse and throughout the season, we will celebrate the first 10 years, which started with an alumni gathering in the fall.
The third moment we will remember came at the conclusion of the 2014 lacrosse season as Detroit Mercy broke a nearly 30-year old record from one of the blue blood's in college lacrosse in North Carolina's extra-man attack.
Take a look at the winning story from the record books.
Titans Set NCAA Record In Man-Up Offense
INDIANAPOLIS (5/27/2014) -- It was a record-setting year for the University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team as the Titans officially set a new standard for man-up offense with the release of the final 2014 NCAA statistics.
Detroit Mercy broke North Carolina's 29-year old record in man-up offense efficiency (.586) as the red, white and blue completely dominated the mark scoring at a .708 clip, converting on 34-of-48 opportunities. Back in 1985 when the Tar Heels claimed the record, they were 41-of-70 in 13 games.
In conference play alone, the Titans were 12-of-16 (.750) and that didn't include their 2-for-2 total in the MAAC Championship Semifinals. Detroit Mercy scored at least three man-up goals in six games on the year, with such performances as 3-for-3 against Michigan and Monmouth, 4-of-5 versus Bellarmine and Quinnipiac and tying a school record by going 5-of-8 against Marquette.

Brandon Beauregard and
Scott Drummond had three apiece and senior
