MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (8/9/2019) -- The end of the first week of practice featured an exhibition for the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team as they traveled just outside of Pittsburgh to the campus of Robert Morris on Friday.
The exhibition featured three 30-minute periods and ended in a 0-0 tie.
Shots were also even at 11 apiece, while the Titans made four saves compared to RMU's three. Detroit Mercy also held a 5-4 advantage on corner kicks.
After that, the teams squared off in a penalty-kick match-up, which favored the Colonials, 7-5.
Overall, 22 Titan student-athletes saw minutes in the exhibition.
Detroit Mercy will host its second and final exhibition on Wednesday, August. 14, when Central Michigan comes to town for a 3 p.m. kick-off. The Titan will then hold its annual alumni game on Saturday at 3 p.m.
