DETROIT (10/14/2020) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball program, under the direction of new head coach
AnnMarie Gilbert officially opened the 2020-21 season with its first official practice on Wednesday afternoon from Calihan Hall.
The Titans have been conducting workouts and offseason strength and conditioning in the building during the new school year and are preparing for a late-November state date for their 44th season as a program and first under Gilbert's leadership.
Detroit Mercy brings back the majority of its squad from a season ago with nine players returning and welcomes several new faces to the team in four transfers and one freshman.
