DETROIT (5/4/2020) -- New University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball coach
AnnMarie Gilbert was officially been on the job for a little more than a week as she was announced as the 12th leader of the program on Friday, April 24. Because of the current global pandemic, Gilbert has yet to be in Detroit yet, however, she has been busy in her new role.
The 18-year head coaching veteran with 287 career victories met with the Voice of the Titan women's basketball program,
Denny Kapp, over the Zoom streaming service late last week to introduce herself to Titan fans, talk about expectations and answer other questions.
