DETROIT (6/30/2020) -- University of Detroit Mercy head men's basketball coach
Mike Davis will join a distinguished panel of collegiate coaches on Wednesday, July 1, as he will be part of 360 Mentoring, a free, virtual coaching town hall.
The online show starts at 9:00 a.m. on CoachTube.com with coach Davis going on at 9 p.m. as part of the Legends showcase teaming with TipoftheHat Hoops Gary Charles, Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton, Pepperdine head coach Lorenzo Romar and Tubby Smith, head coach at High Point.
360 Mentoring is a broad-based symposium that will bring some of the brightest and most experienced minds to a platform where they can share their knowledge with people of color. 360 Mentoring will feature a variety of hour-long panels, giving participants the opportunity to hear from leaders in higher education, including prominent black coaches, sport administrators, and representatives from search firms, plus other industry experts.
Panelists will address issues including, but not limited to, overcoming challenges, preparation, combating stigmas, the search process, student-athlete empowerment and the state of black coaches in today's game.
