DAYTON, Ohio (2/6/2021) – Two University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country student-athletes placed in the top 10 at the Wright State Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The field consisted of Horizon League foe Wright State as well as Dayton.
Rebecca Measel placed eighth overall with a time of 18:42 in the 5K race, and just a mere nine seconds behind her was teammate
Allison Sherman at 18:51.
Also breaking the top-20 was
Kayla Hughes with a time of 19:16 and
Kaitlin Murray at 19:53.
Josie Arnold placed in the top-25 with a time of 22:36, and
Katie Anderla and
Lily Green rounded out the Titans runners in 27th and 28th, with times of 23:08 and 24:24 respectively.
The Titans will now turn their attention toward next weekend's race on the campus of nearby Horizon League rival, Oakland University.
