Titans Finish Up at Horizon League Championships

FORT WAYNE, IND. (3/1/2021) – The University of Detroit Mercy track and field teams wrapped up action from the Horizon League Championships on Monday afternoon.
 
Senior Jacob Spiaser came in eighth place in the pole vault and earned one point for the Titans. He was forged in a three-way tie with a height of 4.05m.
 
The men finished in seventh place with 28 points.

A slow day of action on Monday for the Titan women sees us looking at recaps of the action from earlier in the weekend.

Senior Rebecca Measel placed 16th in the mile with a time of 5:24.52, while graduate senior Kayla Hughes finished 24th with a time of 5:43.25.

In the triple jump, sophomore Micah Carey placed 10th with a distance of 10.56m.

Overall, the women finished in tenth place with seven points.
