DETROIT (5/4/2021) -- Bul Kuol has entered the professional field as he recently made his debut in the Australian State League and is among a slew of University of Detroit Mercy basketball alums currently playing professionally.

Kuol is with the Knox Raiders and tallied 13 points in his first pro game as his team beat the 18th-ranked Kilsyth Cobras 72-63 in the Australian State League Second Division.

Paris Bass is playing in the Dominican Republic for CDP and had a monster game his last time out against second-ranked CPN registering a double-double with 38 points and 21 rebounds. On the year, he is averaging 22.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists. 

Gerald Blackshear Jr. is currently in Slovenia with Rogaska Crystal as he just posted 10 points and four rebounds against the fifth-ranked Terme Olimia in an 95-75 triumph in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. Black Jr. is currently averaging 7.3 points and 5.0 rebounds. 

Chris Blake is in El Salvador and just poured in 41 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to help San Salvador to a win over Cojute 96-93 in the Salvadorean Liga MB Second Division. He is averaging 25.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 2.4 steals. 

Evan Bruinsma led Szombathely to a victory against the seventh-ranked Kormend (21-4) 97-80 in the Hungarian A Division in their latest game. Bruinsma scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Falco-Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely (19-7) is in second place and Bruinsma is tallying 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Musial Gjysma is in the Albanian Superliga with Tirana Eagles Basket and recently scored 15 points with six rebounds against Partizani. He is averaging 11.7 points and 5.7 rebounds on the year. 

Thomas Kennedy - one of the best players in Japan's history - is in the Japanese B1 League with the Hiroshima Dragonflies. In his latest game against the fourth-ranked Aishin Sea Horses, he had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds and he is averaging 16.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists this season. 

Ray McCallum started the year in the NBA G League with the Greensboro Swarm, where he recorded 9.8 points and 5.1 assists before leaving to play in Israel with Hapoel Jerusalem. He netted 18 points in his last game against first-place Maccabi and is the allying 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. 

Josh McFolley is with Tskhum-Abkhazeti of the Georgian Superleague and he just scored 13 points with three assists his last time out for his second-ranked squad, the team's sixth-straight win. He is tallying 20.1 points, 2.6 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. 

Nick Minnerath led Seoul SK Knights to a victory over third-ranked Anyang KGC in the South Korean KBL as he scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. On the year, he is averaging 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. 

Chase Simon was the major contributor in a JDA Dijon Bourgogne's victory against the 16th-ranked Chalons-Reims (7-13) 90-80 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in his latest game. He scored 15 points in 21 minutes. JDA Dijon Bourgogne (17-4) is in their first year in the Jeep ELITE ProA and Simon is averaging 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists this season.
