DETROIT (8/19/2021) -- There is strength in numbers as the University of Detroit Mercy men's cross country and track and field programs have added 12 student-athletes for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
Seven of the 12 student-athletes will run cross country and track.
Joining the Titans are Luke Adamczyk, Cody Bartlett, Isaiah Bonner, Josiah Burr, Nicholas Fringer, Connor Joyce, Alex Khorey, Tate Kwaiser, Kenny Lashaway, Elijah Major, Ashwin Philip and Andrew Pries.
"The twelve member-class marks one of our largest recruiting classes that we have ever had," said Director of Track & Field/Cross Country
Guy Murray '89. "The team will cover all the event disciplines and the rookies will fill in and shore up some spots. The distance group fills in as the next generation with a couple having the ability to contribute immediately.
