Alek Mauro finished in a tie for second and the Titans claimed third place as the University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team wrapped up the fall schedule at the Atomic City Classic on Tuesday.
Detroit Mercy shot a 316 to end the event for a 618 (302-316) scorecard at the par 72, 6,683-yard Centennial Golf Course in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Mauro shot a 77 in the final round and ended in a three-way tie for second with a 148 (71-77), just four shots off the lead. His final 18 saw him card seven pars, three birdies and an eagle.
Sophomore
Vincent Levesque shared ninth with a 152 (72-80), while freshman
Austin Brancaccio was 16th with a 156 (79-77) as he tallied a season-low 77 on the final 18. Levesque had six pars three birdies and an eagle and Brancaccio posted six birdies and five pars.
Junior
Ryan Sangchompuphen was 27th with a 162 (80-82) as his last round saw him sink four birdies and five pars.
