DETROIT (12/20/2022) -- This holiday season, University of Detroit Mercy graduate senior Antoine Davis and the Titans made a trip to local elementary school GESU to surprise some students with holiday gifts.
Davis gave a donation of his custom basketballs and chocolates to the students, while the rest of the Titans pampered the kids with posters and bracelets.

Davis, who is now 10th in NCAA history with 3,031 points and third with 481 career 3-pointers, selected the school to receive his glow basketballs and chocolate bars that contain his own signature logo. The basketballs light up and glow under camera lighting, which has made them a favorite of young kids.

Davis' idea was to use his basketball to encourage kids in the area to stay in school and achieve. Each school will decide how to use his Name Image and Likeness as positive reinforcement for things like perfect attendance, reading books, and good conduct.

"Education will create opportunities for young people, so it's important that they feel good about getting an education," said Davis, who has already received his degree in Communications and is currently enrolled in the Master of Science for Information Assurance program. "I am glad that I have some things that can be used as a positive reinforcement tool in the area of education. "
