Imani McNeal added six points going 4-for-4 front the charity stripe line as Detroit Mercy's offense struggled in a 63-29 #HLWBB set back at Milwaukee on Thursday night at the Klotsche Center.

Akyia Baker chipped in with five points while connecting on her first career 3-pointer. Freshman
Amaya Burch added three points while freshman Ana Cabañas Llorens and junior
Lucia Fleta Robles had two points each.
As a team, Detroit Mercy (2-10, 0-3 HL) was solid at the free throw line going 14-for-18 for a season-best 78.8% clip.
Milwaukee (4-7, 2-1 HL) came out the gate hitting 5-of-6 field goals to take a 12-0 lead before Hooper connected on a lay-up for the Titans' first bucket of the game. After another hoop from Hooper, McNeal added a lay-up followed by a pair of free throws from Fleta Robles as Detroit Mercy trailed by 10 points, 18-8, heading into the second quarter.
The Panthers turned up the defense in the second quarter holding the Titans scoreless over the final 6:16 closing out the fame on an 8-0 run to outscore the Titans 17-5 overall to take a 35-13 halftime lead.
Detroit Mercy's scoring drought continued in the third quarter as the Titans didn't score until Hopper hit a pair of free throws with 1:41 remaining to snap an 11-0 Milwaukee run. She added another lay-up as the Titans trailed 46-17 heading into the fourth quarter.
Detroit Mercy opened the fourth quarter on a 7-3 run before the Panthers responded with a 9-0 run to close out the game for their second HL win of the season.
