Imani McNeal who poured in a career-high 23 points on 6-of-9 shooting while adding a career-best 11-for-12 from the free throw line with three assists as the Titans held off Miami Hamilton 91-84 to snap a four-game skid on Thursday night at Calihan Hall. The 91 points were the most the Titans have scored since defeating UIC, 98-76, in 2016.

Irene Murua reached added a season-high 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting just missing her career-high of 20 points while grabbing a team-best nine rebounds. Freshman
Myonna Hooper came off the bench and posted a career-best 15 points while fellow freshman Ana Cabañas Llorens chipped in with a career-best nine points with four rebounds in her first career start.
Junior
Lucia Fleta Robles was the fourth Titan scoring in double figures with 10 points while dishing out three assists and grabbing a career-best five steals defensively. Junior
Jada Moorehead also chipped in with four points scoring for the first time in four games.
In addition to Detroit Mercy's (2-6) blistering shooting in the fourth quarter, total points in the paint and free throws proved the be the difference. The Titans posted a season-high 56 points in the paint and had 32 points on 47 free throw attempts. Despite going 20-for-24 from the free throw line (83.3%) and shooting 14-for-32 (43.8%) from 3-point range, Miami Hamilton (4-7) had five players foul out of the game which proved costly down the stretch.
Detroit Mercy used a 15-0 run to take an early 24-15 lead in the first quarter. The Harriers responded by outscoring the Titans 26-20 in the third and 24-13 in the fourth quarter spearheaded by a 19-0 run to take an eight-point lead into the fourth quarter before the Titans rallied in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.
Detroit Mercy continues non-conference play at home against Georiga Southern on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.
