SOUTH BEND, Ind. (2/19/2022) - The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team went on the road in another tough trip as the Titans fell at nationally-ranked Notre Dame, 24-2, on Saturday night.

Jakob Hemme made 13 saves inbetween the pipes, while graduate senior
Paul Manuszak posted a pair of caused turnovers with four ground balls.

Brett Erskine and freshman
Nolan Graalman each had a goal, the 75th for Erskine and the first collegiate score for Graalman.
The Titans (0-3) fell behind early as #4/4 Notre Dame (1-0) netted the game's first eight strikes before Erskine found the back of the cage. Graalman then took a pass from junior
Ryan Birney and beat the keeper left in the second period.

Kyle Loken picked up three ground balls and seniors
Kelson Connors and
Mason Kamminga had two apiece. Sophomore
Connor Baratta won nine faceoffs.
The Titans saw 20 of their 38 shots on net.
Detroit Mercy will return to action in two weeks when they visit Jesuit-rival Marquette on March 5.
