SOUTH BEND, Ind. (3/15/22) - Junior Jordan Hazel went 2-for-2 from the plate while seniors McKenna Tanguay and Taylor Gauthier each hit 1-for-2 as Detroit Mercy fell 18-0 at Notre Dame on Tuesday at Melissa Cook Stadium.

• Notre Dame score a run in the 1st inning off a RBI groundout
• Hazel recorded Detroit Mercy's first hit of the game in the second inning
• Irish added two runs off bases loaded walks followed by a sacrifice fly and four more runs off a RBI single and two doubles for a total of seven runs in the second inning
• Tanguay and Gauthier posted back-two-back hits in the third inning
• Hazel's second hit came in the fourth inning
• The Irish added another six runs in the fourth inning off three RBI singles and 3-run home run
