Oscar Hernandez claimed first in the shortened race at 18:58.7.
Antonio Romano made his collegiate debut running a 20:23.2 for fifth overall.
"We ran the 3.5 mile version of the course, which is one of the men's two mile loops with one 5k loop," Director of Track and Field and Cross Country
Guy Murray '89 said. "We shortened the run with the heat and humidity conditions and to prep us for our seasonal 8k debut at Notre Dame on Friday," Murray said.
