COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (4/15/2023) -- Senior
Luke Majick tallied three goals, but Air Force was too strong at home as the University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team fell, 22-7, on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Jakob Hemme made 12 saves in net. Junior
Noah Martin had two caused turnovers and a ground ball and senior
Kyle Loken picked up three GB's. Sophomore
Billy Hart won 9-of-16 faceoffs with a team-high five ground balls and freshman
Logan Flaherty won 8-of-17.
Detroit Mercy (2-9, 2-3 ASUN) scored the first goal of the game as freshman
Drew Kessenich set up Progar's goal not even a minute into the game. The Titans would knot it at 2-2 at the 10:38 mark as graduate senior
Ethan Pattinson found Majick and he scored with the man-up.
Air Force (8-5, 5-2 ASUN) then scored four in a row to take the lead it would never give back before Majick ended that run with 12:42 left in the second. Sophomore
Aidan Bishop helped the Titans get on the board again, feeding Graalman for a marker to make it 8-4, but the Falcons scored four in a row to end the period and take a 12-4 lead at the break.
Air Force extended that run to 14 before the red, white and blue ended the contest with three straight. First sophomore
Chase Mahabir found Majick for his hat trick third goal with 3:26 remaining. Birney fired one in with 1:30 on the clock and Snider beat the defense for a strike with 32 seconds to go.
Freshman
Sean Henige finished with a caused turnover and two ground balls and freshman
Joe Janda registered a pair of GB's.
The Titans will return home for Senior Day as Detroit Mercy host Bellarmine next Saturday, April 22, with first faceoff set for Noon.

- The Titans are 0-8 all-time against Air Force and 0-5 on the road
- Birney is the current Titan leader with 58 points and 48 goals
- Going back to last season, Hemme has posted double-digit saves in 18 of his 21 career games
- Majick now has five career hat tricks and three this season
- Progar Progar had just seven career goals coming into the Lindenwood game, but notched his first career hat trick with three markers and has now scored in three straight with goals at Jacksonville and today
- Martin has tallied seven caused turnovers and 29 ground balls in the last eight games
- Hart is 19-of-38 in faceoffs with nine ground balls in the last two games, winning a career-best 10 at #16/14 Jacksonville
- Flaherty won a season-high 10 faceoffs versus Robert Morris and nine at Ohio State and at Queens
