DETROIT (5/17/2023) -- This past weekend, the University of Detroit Mercy held its annual graduation ceremonies for dental, law, nursing, undergraduate and graduates, and more than 50 student-athletes had a chance to don their cap and gown.

The Titans were also prominent when it came to the festivities, as senior softball player Kara Wolfbauer was the valedictorian and gave the final address, while former men's cross country and track and field distance runner Oliver Daniel was named the Vivere ex Missione Award winner for the dental school, presented to graduating students who best exemplify the mission of University of Detroit Mercy and demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence.
