Detroit Mercy Announces 2023 Men’s Soccer Schedule

Titans host seven home matches including #HLMSOC home opener against Green Bay followed by defending champion Cleveland State

DETROIT (6/8/23) – First year Head Coach Nate Kopunek announced the 2023 Detroit Mercy Men's soccer schedule which includes seven home matches at Titan Field highlighted by the #HLMSOC home opener against Green Bay (Sept. 3) followed by a showdown against 2022 Horizon League champion Cleveland State (Sept. 16) and Senior Day against Robert Morris (Oct. 28).
 
Detroit Mercy opens the season with a pair of home exhibition matches at DePaul (Aug. 12) and at Duquesne (Aug. 14). The Titans then open the regular season with a West Coast road swing at St. Mary's (Aug. 24) and San Francisco (Aug. 27) followed by another pair of road games at Marquette (Sept. 1) and Notre Dame (Sept. 5).
 
After the home opener against Green Bay at Titan Field, Detroit Mercy travels for a non-conference battle at defending Mid-American Conference (MAC) champion and NCAA Sweet 16 participant Western Michigan (Sept. 13).
 
Following the home showdown against defending HL champion CSU, the Titans will host Eastern Illinois (Sept. 19) in non-conference action and will resume conference play to close out the month of September at Northern Kentucky (Sept. 23) and at home against IUPUI (Sept. 30).
 
Detroit Mercy welcomes MAC foe Bowling Green (Oct. 3) followed by three consecutive league matches beginning at Milwaukee (Oct. 7), home against Purdue Fort Wayne (Oct. 14) and at Wright State (Oct. 21).
 
The Titans travel to Big Ten opponent Penn State (Oct. 23) before closing out the home slate against RMU.
 
Detroit Mercy then closes out the regular season with the annual Metro Series showdown at arch-rival Oakland (Nov. 1).
