
DETROIT (6/9/23) – Head Coach
Steve Shelton announced the 2023 Detroit Mercy Women's soccer schedule which includes 10 home matches at Titan Field highlighted by the home opener against Mid-American Conference (MAC) and in-state foe Central Michigan (Aug. 17) followed by the #HLWSOC opener against Youngstown State (Sept. 14) and the annual Metro Series showdown against arch-rival Oakland (Oct. 25).
Detroit Mercy opens the season with a pair of road exhibition matches at in-state opponents Michigan State (Aug. 6) and Eastern Michigan (Aug. 10).
The Titans then open the regular season with a pair of non-conference home matches against CMU and Morehead State (Aug. 20) followed by a two-match road swing at Canisius (Aug. 24) and St. Bonaventure (Aug. 27).
UDM welcomes two more MAC opponents to Titan Field in Bowling Green (Aug. 31) and Toledo (Sept. 3) before traveling to Chicago State (Sept. 8) and coming back home against Concordia (Sept. 10) to conclude non-conference play.
After the league home opener against YSU, Detroit Mercy travels to 2022 defending HL champion Milwaukee (Sept. 17) followed by at IUPUI (Sept. 24). The Titans close out the month of September at home against Green Bay (Sept. 24) and at Robert Morris (Sept. 30).
The Titans close out the regular season playing three of their final five matches at home in the month of October beginning with Purdue Fort Wayne (Oct. 8) followed by at Wright State (Oct. 12), at home against Cleveland State (Oct. 15), at Northern Kentucky (Oct. 21) and concluding with the home finale against Oakland.
