DETROIT (1/9/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy has nearly 20 former student-athletes currently playing professionally in various leagues and most of those Titans are making a major impact.

Antoine Davis '23 is currently playing in the NBA G League with the Rip City Remix - an affiliate of the Portland Trailblazers - and has picked up his play since right before the holiday. He has scored in double figures in five-straight games, seven of his last eight and eight of his last 10 after having done so just twice in his first 11 games. Davis has posted three-straight 20-point performances with 20 points - hitting a season-high six triples - against Salt Lake City, a season-high 28 with six more 3-pointers along with four assists versus Mexico City and 26 with three boards and three assists in the follow-up game against the Capitanes. On the year, he is averaging 10.3 points shooting 37.0% from the field and 34.8% from three. 

Eli Holman '12 just joined Homentmen of the Lebanese LBL and recorded seven points and 11 rebounds in his first game. 

Ray McCallum '13 is with Karditsas of the Greek GBL as he is tallying 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in one of the best leagues in Europe. He just dropped 15 points and six assists in a win.

Thomas Kennedy '10 is with Cyberdyne Ibaraki of the Japanese B1 League and just posted 42 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a win. One of the best scorers of all time in Japan is currently netting 12.6 points and 4.0 rebounds. 

Nick Minnerath '13 is now in the West Asia Super League with Shabab Al Ahli and had 29 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in his first game with the team. 

Evan Bruinsma '14 is in the Turkish BSL with Onvo Buyukcekmece Basketbol and is registering 9.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Gerald Liddell '23 is playing with Akademik Plovdiv in the Bulgarian NBL. He just had 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists and is averaging 12.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals. 

Josh McFolley '19 is with Sparta in the Luxembourg LBBL. He just scored 22 points, added six assists and four steals in a win and is tallying 23.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.4 steals. 

Juwan Howard Jr. '15 is also in the Luxembourg LBBL with Sparta and is averaging 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. 

Gerald Blackshear Jr. '19 is playing in the North Macedonian Prva Liga with KK Euro Nickel and is posting 7.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists. 

Kameron Chatman is in the Czech Republic NBL with Pardubice and just had 24 points and eight rebounds in a victory as he is tallying 19.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 assists per game. 

Paris Bass is in the South Korean KBL with Suwon KT Sonicboom and recently tallied 44 points, nine rebounds five assists and two blocks in a win. During the year, he has averaged 25.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. 

Bul Kuol is a member of United in the Australian NBL. His team is currently in second place in the division as he is posting 13.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Prince Oduro is on HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in the German BBL and is tallying 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. 

Other Titans playing overseas include Willy Isiani'22 with Alcala in Spanish LEB Silver, Matt Johnson '22 in the Lebanese LBL with NSA, Justin Miller '21 with Gheorgheni in Romanian Liga I, Madut Akec suiting up for the Knox Raiders in Australian NBL, Cole Long with Nassjo in the Swedish Basketligan and Chris Blakefor IHC Apes in the Mongolian MBL.
