After a scoreless first half, Detroit Mercy (8-7-2, 6-1-2 HL) took a 1-0 lead in the 47th minute off a Purdue Fort Wayne (8-9-1, 3-6 HL) own goal.
Just six minutes later, the Mastodons responded with the equalizer tying the game at 1-1.
In the 56th minute, Toupin delivered a strike off a long-range free-kick into the back of the net, giving the Titans a 2-1 lead.
UDM sealed the deal just a minute later as Bradow passed the ball to Puerto-Khalil, who slotted the ball over to Washington, who got in behind a defender and flicked the ball into the net for the 3-1 win.
The Titans travel North up I-75 to Rochester, Mich for a Metro Series battle at arch-rival Oakland on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
