DETROIT (3/9/24) – Detroit Mercy men's fencing freshman phenoms Nathan Mysiorek and Arturo Rangel completed competition at the 2024 NCAA Midwest Fencing Championships held on Saturday, Mar. 9 at the Matthaei Center on the campus of Wayne State.
 
Mysiorek (sabre) went 2-3 in Round 1 Pool #1 to advance to the Round #2 Pool where he went 1-11 to finish 12th overall.
 
Rangel (epee) went 1-5 in Round 1 Pool #3 and didn't advance to Round #2 and finished 16th overall.
