Joyelle Washington's first career assist in a Titan uniform to give Detroit Mercy a 1-1 draw at Green Bay in #HLWSOC action from Aldo Santanga Stadium on Thursday night.
After a scoreless first half, the Phoenix (2-4-4, 0-1-2 HL) scored the game's first goal in the 65th minute.
With time winding down in the 81st minute Detroit Mercy (4-6-1, 2-0-1 HL) got to work as Washington got a loose ball and slotted it over to Lodato. She then fired a long-range shot from just outside the 18-yard line box into the back of the net for the equalizer.
Marisa Silver made five saves in goal for the Titans, while UDM out-shot Green Bay 15-11.
Detroit Mercy will continue its three-game road trip with a #HLWSOC match at defending HL champion Milwaukee on Sunday, Sept. 29th at 2 p.m. ET.
