Arturo Rangel won the individual Senior Mixed Epee competition, while sophomore
Nathan Mysiorek finished fourth in the Senior Mixed Sabre competition to lead Detroit Mercy at the Wayne State Danosi Open.
• Rangel went a perfect 5-0 in pool play and 4-0 in the 32-man/women bracket to claim the first-place title.
• Mysiorek went 4-1 in pool play and 4-1 in the bracket to advance to the final four and finish fourth overall.

Sophia Baez went 4-2 in pool play and 2-1 in the bracket, falling in the round of eight.
