Aaliyah McQueen added nine points as Detroit Mercy had trouble solving Green Bay's defense as the Titans fell 70-47 on Thursday night at the Kress Center.
Detroit Mercy (11-5, 5-3 HL) hung tough through most of the game but could not overcome two crucial runs by Green Bay (14-5, 7-1 HL) in the second and fourth quarters, which proved to be the difference.

O'Brien came out hitting on all cylinders, scoring 10 of Detroit Mercy's 16 first-quarter points on 4-of-6 shooting and 2-for-3 from 3-point range as the Titans trailed 17-16 at the end of the frame.
With the game tied at 19-19 by the second quarter media timeout, Green Bay's offense came alive, going on a 17-4 run to take a 36-23 lead at the half. O'Brien finished the half with 13 points.
Buckets were hard to come by to open the third quarter, with each team only scoring two points by the 4:53 media timeout. UDM did hold a slim 11-8 advantage to stay within striking distance, only trailing by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter at 44-34.
The Phoenix opened the fourth quarter with a 10-3 run and never looked back, outscoring the Titans 26-13 to seal the game.
