Detroit Mercy Blanked at Northern Kentucky

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (10-19-25) - Detroit Mercy posted five total shots on goal, with two each from senior Abbey Lodato and junior Jada Rivera, while freshman Emma Henry added one. However, it was not enough as the Titans could not get on the board, falling 1-0 at Northern Kentucky on Sunday afternoon at the NKU Soccer Complex. Junior Eva Hill recorded five saves in goal.

Both team defenses stood strong in the first half before Northern Kentucky (9-2-5, 6-1-1 HL) took a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute heading into halftime.

Detroit Mercy (2-12-2, 0-6-2 HL) recorded four shots with three on goal in the second half, along with two corner kick opportunities, but could not get the equalizer.

Detroit Mercy concludes their two-game #HLWSOC road swing beginning at Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 3 pm.
