Women's Lacrosse Welcomes Lindenwood To Titan Field For Wednesday Matinee

DETROIT (3/10/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team is back at home after three in a row on the road as the Titans meet the Lindenwood Lions on Wednesday.

Game time is set for Noon at Titan Field and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Detroit Mercy is 3-3 on the season as its defense has held three of its last four foes to under 10 goals, winning all three, and is looking for its best start through seven games in school history.

The Titans were 2-1 on their spring break trip, winning 13-9 win at Presbyterian their last time out. Junior Alyssa Jarvis and freshman Jaeda Jensen each had three goals, while senior Maddy Camm had four points on three assists and a marker, two caused turnovers, and tied Jarvis with six draw controls.

Lindenwood is 5-1 on the season and has won three in a row, defeating Akron at home its last time out, 18-12. The Lions are 4-0 against MAC opponents on the year, with road wins at Youngstown State and Kent State and a home victory over Central Michigan.

After the game, the Titans will travel to another Jesuit rival in Marquette on Sunday.

WHAT A WIN MEANS

  • The Titans are 3-3 to start the year, marking the first time the Titans have been at .500 through six games since the 2018 season.
  • A win would have UDM above .500 for the first time ever through seven games, and the first time the red, white, and blue would be above .500 since finishing the 2018 campaign at 10-8.

DEFEND OUR HOME

  • Detroit Mercy is 46-62 all-time in home games.
  • The Titans started to turn it around at home last season, going 3-3 after a 2-20 effort from 2020-2023.
  • UDM is also 42-49 all-time in games played on campus at Titan Field.

VS. LINDENWOOD

  • This is the third straight year that Detroit Mercy and Lindenwood will meet up, as the Lions have won the previous two meetings.
