DETROIT (4/12/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team posted seven wins and a few career bests as the Titans finished up a weekend that saw them compete in three meets.

At Central Michigan, UDM recorded the seven first-place finishes, led by freshman James Wallace, who won 100 (10.91) and 200-meters (21.86) and ran a leg on the third place 4x100. His time in the 200m was also the eighth best in school history.

Freshman Luke Bracket won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.60, while freshman Andrew Drakos was the victor in the 400-meter hurdles in 57.07.

Graduate senior Luke Adamczyk won the javelin with a throw of 48.48 meters, the fourth-best mark in the school record book, and freshman Jack Gonzalez leaped 11.95m to take the triple jump.

The 4x400-meter relay squad of junior Jaden McKenzie, sophomores Mike Ferguson and Nicholas Johnson and freshman John Almeda crossed the line first in 3:22.84.

At Davenport, the Titans saw graduate senior Simon Jones post 5,641 points for fifth, ahead of sophomore Joshua Neary's sixth-place effort with 5,539 points, as both are top five in school history.

Meanwhile, at the Bison Outdoor Classic, sophomore Christopher Russelburg clocked 15:09.57 for 79th place.

Detroit Mercy will be back in town next week as the red, white and blue head back to Oakland for the Elaine Leigh Track Invite.
