COLUMBUS (5/3/2025) -- Due to weather, the University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team only competed in a few events to conclude Ohio State's Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday.

Senior Luke Adamczyk had the best result, taking ninth in the javelin with a throw of 44.33 meters.

Senior Ashwin Philip was 19th in the 800m in 2:00.85, while freshman Nicholas Yaquinto placed 22nd in the 1,500m in 4:16.34.

The Titans will now prepare for the Horizon League Championships, which starts on Friday at Youngstown State.
