UDM opened the third quarter with back-to-back 3-balls from Diawara and Anderson, but still were outscored 20-12 in the frame to trail 54-33 going into the fourth quarter.
Detroit Mercy would not go down without a fight as they mounted a fourth-quarter charge for the second consecutive game. The Titans got triples from Jackson and Burrell, along with six points from Edwards, to cap off a 17-6 run, cutting the deficit to 16 points at 66-50 with 4:17 to go. However, GB responded with an 18-3 spurt to close out the game to remain undefeated in league play.
The first half was a defensive battle as Green Bay held a 17-8 advantage after the first quarter. The Titans hung tough, especially on the glass, as they finished the half with 12 offensive rebounds, trailing 37-20 at the break.
