Anna Lassan also added a career-high 10 points off the bench, going 5-for-6 from the field as Detroit Mercy fell 95-66 at Purdue Fort Wayne in #HLWBB action on Sunday afternoon at the Gates Sports Center.

Myonna Hooper added nine points with three assists, while graduate student
Jasmine Edwards chipped in with seven points and four boards. Sophomores
Addisen Mastriano and
Maya Anderson also had six points each.
Junior
Makayla Jackson had a game-high four steals defensively for the second consecutive game. Freshman Naïma Diawara had five points, hitting her fourth triple of the season, while senior
Allison Basye scored her first points in a Titan uniform with two.
Purdue Fort Wayne's hot shooting proved to be the difference as the Dons shot a blistering 32-56 (57.1%) from the field and only dipped below 60% for the game late in the fourth quarter. PFW also hit 14-for-28 (50.0%) from 3-point range. Conversely, Detroit Mercy (4-18, 2-11 HL) went on 25-for-61 (41.0%), only going 4-for-17 (23.5%) from long range.
PFW jumped out to a 9-0 lead before Lassan hit the Titans' first shot from the field to end the spurt. UDM got going offensively after trailing 17-4 with 11 points to trail 26-15 after the first quarter.
The Titans played PFW close in the second quarter, scoring 17 points, highlighted by Davis' long-range 3-pointer that beat the buzzer, cutting the lead to 13 points, 45-32 at the break.
The Dons made their move in the third quarter, opening up on an 8-0 run. They went on to outscore UDM 27-11 while shooting a staggering 10-for-14 (71.4%) and 5-for-7 (71.4%) from 3-point range to take a commanding 72-43 lead and never looked back.
Both teams had 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Titans went 8-for-15 (53.3%) but couldn't cut into the deficit.
Detroit Mercy travels North on I-75 for a Metro Series rematch at arch-rival Oakland on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m.
