Jasmine Edwards just missed a double-double with 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds, with two blocks, as Detroit Mercy's solid second half was not enough in a 66-55 setback against Robert Morris on Thursday night at Calihan Hall.

Detroit Mercy (5-21, 3-14 HL) played Robert Morris (17-10, 10-8 HL) even in the second half, with each team scoring 33 points. RMU opened up the third on a 16-8 run to lead 49-33 at the 4:14 mark, outscoring the Titans 22-17 to lead 55-39 going into the fourth.
UDM got layups from Edwards and Anderson to cap off an 8-2 run to pull within 10 points at 57-47 at the 6:08 mark. The Titans kept battling as Hooper and McQueen each added fast-break layups, but they couldn't cut the deficit under double figures down the stretch.
In the first half, RMU jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Anderson put UDM on the board with a free throw. McQueen came off the bench and connected on a 3-pointer for the Titans' first field goal as they trailed 16-9 at the end of the frame.
UDM cut the deficit to six points, 23-17, to open the second quarter by the 4:23 mark. RMU only held a 17-13 advantage overall to lead 33-22 at the break.
