DETROIT (2/23/2026) -- Redshirt junior
Cooper St. Clair made a career-high 19 saves and tried to keep the Titans in it, but Marquette was too much today as the University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team dropped a 15-4 decision at home on Monday afternoon.
The 19 saves are tied for seventh in school history, and he also had four ground balls.Â

Dylan Belliveau and
PJ O'Hanlon each scored a goal, with Belliveau and Parker each picking up two ground balls.Â

Kyle Grant had two caused turnovers and two ground balls, while sophomore
Ian Greenwell had two takeaways and three GB's, and sophomore
Canton Lanham was 9-of-22 in faceoffs with a team-high five ground balls.Â
Marquette (2-2) scored first, but then, off a faceoff win by Lanham, Parker was able to knot it up.Â
The Golden Eagles went on a run, which ended when O'Hanlon netted a marker in the third. Molotky also added a strike in the third, and Belliveau registered a goal in the fourth.
The Titans were 20-of-21 on clears and held Marquette to 1-of-4 on the extra-man advantage.Â
Detroit Mercy will be back in action next week, Mar. 7, when it travels down south to face Jacksonville.Â

- The Titans are now 1-12 all-time against Marquette, with the lone victory in 2019, 15-12 on the road, and are 0-5 at home
- UDM head coach Charlie Hayes and Marquette head coach Jake Richard are teammates in the PLL on the Waterdogs
- The 19 saves are the most since Ryan Richters had 22 at LIU last season
- Grant now has 52 career caused turnovers, tied for Alex Akins for seventh in school history, and seven shy of Paul Bitetti for sixth
