MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (3/28/2026) -- Senior
Alyssa Jarvis had five points, and the Titans had an early lead, but could not hold on as the University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team was upended, 14-7, at Central Michigan on Saturday.
Jarvis scored two goals, a career-tying three assists, along with a game-high seven draw controls, three ground balls, and a caused turnover. Senior
Libby Cuckler added two goals, an assist, and pulled down three DC's, and redshirt freshman
Avary Sacdalan scored twice.Â

Angelina Hook posted a career-tying high three caused turnovers and three GB's, while senior
Vanessa Evans had a career-best two takeaways.Â
UDM (0-8, 0-3 MAC) got on the board first as Cuckler netted a free-position marker just two minutes into the contest. After a CMU (2-9, 1-2 MAC) goal, a caused turnover by Evans helped set up the offense and the Titans took advantage of a foul, with Cuckler burying her second free-position marker of the contest.Â
The Titans then took a 3-1 lead as freshman
Chloe Sheader grabbed the draw control and Jarvis located Sacdalan for the score with 7:12 left in the first.Â
The Chippewas came back to tie it at 3-3, but off a save from Coyne, Sacdalan beat the keeper again for a 4-3 advantage with 6:08 remaining in the second. It was then tied at 5-5 at the break as Cuckler found Jarvis, and she fired one to the back of the net with just 30 ticks left on the clock.
CMU started the third with five-straight goals before Jarvis won the draw and fed freshman
Morgan Stamatakis for her second marker of the year.Â
The home team netted a few more before Jarvis tickled the twine with 5:24 left in the game.Â

Detroit Mercy will return home to host Youngstown State next Saturday, with the first draw set for Noon.

- The Titans won the first four meetings, but Central Michigan leads the all-time series, 8-6, including 5-3 in Mount Pleasant
- Last season, the red, white and blue defeated the Chippewas, 9-7, to earn the final spot in the MAC playoffs.
- Cuckler is now tied for ninth in school history with 34 career assists
