ST. CHARLES, Mo. (3/7/2026) -- Three Titans found the back of the net and UDM goalies posted 14 saves on the day, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team could not contain Lindenwood, falling 20-3 on the road on Saturday.
Senior
Alyssa Jarvis had a goal, tied her career-high with four ground balls, pulled down four draw controls, and registered two caused turnovers. Freshman
Chloe Sheader had a goal, caused a turnover, and had a ground ball, and senior
Libby Cuckler added a goal and a GB.
Sophomore
Kaitlynn Hedrick started in net and had five saves, while redshirt freshman
Emily Coyne made nine.
The Lions (3-4) got out to a 6-0 lead when Cuckler took advantage of a foul and scored on the free position late in the first.
In the second, Jarvis was able to beat the keeper on the free position, while Sheader drove to the cage and fired one to the back of the net in the third.
UDM was 15-of-19 on clears and finished with a season-high 14 ground balls.Â
Due to injuries, the Titans will have to forfeit their game at Marquette on Tuesday and will get back on the field next Saturday when they open MAC play on the road at Akron.Â
