CLEVELAND (6/4/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team saw nine student-athletes make their way onto the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team on Thursday.
The nine Titans with the criteria were:
- Lucy Annese, R-Fr., Psychology
- Ava Bandi, R-Fr., Biology
- Libby Cuckler, Sr., Nursing
- Vanessa Evans, Gr., Nursing
- Kaitlynn Hedrick, So., Psychology
- Angelina Hook, Sr., Nursing
- Alyssa Jarvis, Sr., Pre-Dental
- Jane Peck, Sr., Bio-Chemistry
- Avary Sacdalan, R-Fr., Nursing
Jarvis, Cuckler, and Hook finished their careers as three-time Academic All-MAC Team members, while Evans was named for the second time.
A total of 114 women's lacrosse student-athletes were named to the 2026 Academic All-MAC Team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
